The KIP HDP Technology on the left offers single line pixel width of .0017", while achieving 300 lines per inch with very little toner splash and consistent lines. On the right, the competitive printer fails at achieving an acceptable line pattern at 300 lines per inch.

KIP HDP vs. Conventional Photoconductive Technology

There are a number of technical factors that separate KIP HDP from conventional printing technology:

• KIP HDP uses a unique method to transfer toner to the imaging drum. This patented method applies toner directly to the imaging drum using a static electrical charge. This method creates a very tight, fine dot pattern with little to no flaring seen in conventional printing technology.
• KIP HDP toner is mono component, non magnetic and uses no carriers and developers. The result is a quality and efficiency unmatched by conventional systems.
• KIP HDP does not use a conventional cleaning blade to remove excess toner from the drum during the imaging process.
